Online Activation (Recommended)

With an internet connection, it happens automatically:

1. Install Acronis True Image.

2. Log in with your Acronis account.

3. The product will be activated automatically.

Important:

• Subscriptions (Essential, Advanced, Premium) can only be activated online.

• The account used must match the email address provided at purchase.

Permanent License (One-Time Purchase)

If your serial number is not yet registered:

1. Click “Enter Serial Number”.

2. Enter or paste the serial number.

3. Click “Activate”.

For an upgrade serial number, you will also need to enter the serial number of the previous version.

Offline Activation (For Permanent Licenses Only)

Only possible for one-time purchase licenses.
Subscriptions cannot be activated offline.

Step 1: Create Installation Code

1. In Acronis, click on the left “Account”.

2. Click the arrow next to “Troubleshoot Activation Issues”.

3. Select “Activate Offline”.

4. Save the generated installation code (e.g., to a USB stick) or write it down.

Step 2: Retrieve Activation Code Online

1. On a computer with internet, open the page:
   http://www.acronis.com/activation/

2. Upload or enter the installation code.

3. Click “Retrieve Activation Code”.

4. Save or write down the activation code.

Step 3: Complete Activation

1. Back at the original computer.

2. Import the activation code via “Load from File” or enter it manually.

3. Click “Activate”.

After successful activation, the message appears:
“The product has been successfully activated.”
