G Data Internet Security 2024 Download/Activation

Start installation

Please start the installation as follows:
Software download: To begin the installation of a version of the software downloaded from the internet, double-click the downloaded file. An installation window will open automatically.

Language selection

Please select the language in which you would like to install your new G DATA software.

Installation method

An assistant will now guide you through the installation of the software on your computer. Please choose whether you would like to perform a standard installation or a custom installation. We recommend the standard installation.

Software version

You can now specify whether you want to install the software as a full version or as a trial version. Please select the full version here and enter the product key for activation that you received from us.

Product activation

During the installation, the product activation takes place. Here you can unlock your software.

Enter a new registration number: If you are reinstalling your G DATA software, please select this option and then enter the registration number that comes with the product.


By entering the registration number, your product will be activated, and you will also receive your access data via email for later use.


Enter access data: If you have previously activated your G DATA software, you have received access data (username & password). To reinstall the software or to register additional computers with a multi-license, simply enter the access data here.


Completion of installation

To take full advantage of the program's protection, you must restart your computer.
