Guide to Activating Your Foxit PDF Editor License
Note: If you have already launched the trial version or downloaded the subscription installation from our homepage, your license cannot be activated. Please follow the link provided above to reinstall and activate the perpetual version.
Activating Your License Key:
There are two ways to start the activation:

Through the Foxit PDF Editor Software:
- Launch Foxit PDF Editor.
- Click on "Help" and select "Activate". The activation process will then begin.

Through the Activation File:
- Launch "Foxit PDF Editor Activation.exe" by clicking Start > All Programs > Foxit PDF Editor > Activation.
Since you have purchased a perpetual license, copy your license key and paste it into the field under "Perpetual License" in the Foxit PDF Editor activation pop-up window. Then click on "Activate".
Verifying the Activation:
To check if Foxit PDF Editor has been successfully activated, select "Help" > "About Foxit PDF Editor" > "License Information" and verify that your name appears as the licensee in the window.
Important Notes:
- Each single-user license activates only one device.
- To transfer Foxit PDF Editor to a new computer, you must deactivate the license key on the old device.
- Foxit PDF Editor licenses are not interchangeable between Windows and macOS.
