Step-by-Step Guide to Installing Office 2024
Step 1: Download WinRAR
Visit the official WinRAR website: www.win-rar.com.
Select the desired version for your operating system (usually Windows).
Step 2: Install WinRAR
Open the downloaded file.
Follow the installation instructions on the screen.
Once the installation is complete, you can use WinRAR directly.
Step 3: Extract the file
Right-click on the file you want to extract.
Select “Extract Here” or “Extract to [Folder Name]”.
The file will be extracted to the desired directory.
1. Extracting the Installation Package
- Right-click on the downloaded ZIP package (e.g.,
Office2024 Professional IPlus...). - Select the option “Extract All...” (see Image 1).
- Follow the instructions to extract the files into a folder.
2. Running the Installation File
- Navigate to the extracted folder and locate the file
Click To Run.cmd. - Right-click on this file.
- Select “Run as Administrator” (see Image 2).
- IF the installation does not run, then execute the “Click to Run” file once by double-clicking it with your left mouse button.
3. Bypass SmartScreen Protection
- A window with the message “Your PC is protected by Windows” will appear.
- Click on “More Info” (see Image 3).
4. Force Installation
- Click on “Run Anyway” (see Image 4) to start the installation process.
5. Continue Installation
- Follow the further instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
If you receive the following error message (see illustration), you should temporarily disable this feature. Please proceed as follows:
