How to create a USB stick / burn a CD?
Installation via a bootable USB stick
1. Create USB stick for Windows 7 / 8 / 10
- Use a bootable USB stick. Download the free Media Creation Tool and run it. Then download the ISO file provided by us by selecting the option “Create installation media for another PC”.
- Next, select the desired language, edition, and architecture (32-bit or 64-bit).
- After that, you can either download the installation files as an ISO file or copy them directly to a USB stick. In most cases, it is advisable to first download the ISO file, as a bootable USB stick can be created from it at any time.
- Connect the USB stick to your computer. Then select the desired stick. The USB stick should have at least 4 GB of storage space, but more is recommended.
Then the installation files for Windows will be downloaded and transferred to the USB stick.
Installation via CD/DVD
First, download the software in ISO or IMG format, if you haven't done so already. Then insert a CD or DVD into your drive.
Right-click on the ISO file and select “Burn disc image”.
In the following window, select the desired drive and click “Burn”. Optionally, you can enable the “Verify disc after burning” function to additionally check the data. This may slightly prolong the burning process.
Once completed, the disc will be automatically ejected. The CD/DVD is then ready for use.
