Disable Smart App Control

If Smart App Control is preventing the installation of your software, you can disable this feature in the Windows Security settings.

Important Note: After disabling, Smart App Control cannot be reactivated without reinstalling or resetting Windows.


Step 1: Open Windows Settings

Press the Windows key, type “Settings”, and open the application.


Step 2: Privacy and Security

Navigate to “Privacy and Security”.


Step 3: Windows Security

Click on “Windows Security” and then on “Open Windows Security”.


Step 4: App and Browser Control

Open the “App and Browser Control” section.

Then click on “Smart App Control Settings”.


Step 5: Disable

Select the “Disabled” option to turn off Smart App Control.


After disabling, you can restart the installation of your software.
