After installation, Windows 7 can be conveniently activated online or alternatively by phone.
Online activation of Windows 7
Step 1
Open the Start menu and right-click on “Computer”. Then select “Properties”.
Step 2
Click on “Activate Windows online now”.
Step 3
Enter your product key. For versions purchased online, you can find this in the email you received from us.
Step 4
Confirm your entry by clicking “Next”.
Step 5
Windows will check the key online and automatically activate the system.
After successful activation, you will receive a confirmation message.
Phone activation of Windows 7
Step 1
Open the system properties via Start > Computer > Properties.
Step 2
Click on “Show other activation methods” and enter your product key.
Step 3
Select the option “Use automated phone system”.
Step 4
Select your country and click “Next”.
Step 5
Call the displayed phone number and follow the instructions of the automated activation service.
Step 6
Submit the displayed installation ID.
Step 7
You will then receive a confirmation ID that you need to enter on your computer.
Once the entry is complete, Windows 7 will be successfully activated.
