If you encounter difficulties during installation or activation, our support team is happy to assist you. Office is already installed and you just want to activate the product key?Please note that the product key must always match the installed Office version. Since Microsoft Office is available in different editions, a reinstallation using the installation file we provide may be necessary. To avoid installation errors, we recommend that you follow the steps below completely. You can find the download in your customer account under “Instant Downloads” or in the email with your product key. |
Please now follow Steps 1 to 11:
Step 1:
- First, uninstall all existing Microsoft Office versions from your computer.

Then, if present, remove the Microsoft Office folder under:
C:\Program Files\
Step 2:
- Download your Office version using the provided download link and then start the installation file.
Step 3:
- Wait until the installation is fully completed.
Step 4:
- Then open an Office application, such as Word or Excel, via the Start menu.
Step 5:
- Open a blank document.
Step 6:
- Click on “File” in the upper left corner.
Step 7:
- Then switch to the “Account” section.
Step 8:
- Click on “Change Product Key”.
Step 9:
- Enter your product key and then click on “Activate Office”.
Step 10:
- Close the Office application and reopen it.
- Then check under “Account” whether the activation was successful.
