What is the difference between 1 PC and 2 PC licenses?

The specification 1 PC or 2 PC describes how many devices or operating systems a license can be activated on.

1 PC License
A 1-PC license is intended for activation on one device or one operating system. The use is thus limited to a single installation.

2 PC License
A 2-PC license allows activation on two devices or two operating systems. This option is suitable, for example, if you want to use the software on a desktop PC and additionally on a laptop.

Please note:
Multiple operating systems on one device are considered separate installations from a licensing perspective.

In summary:

• 1 PC = 1 device or 1 operating system
• 2 PC = 2 devices or 2 operating systems

Before purchasing, check how many devices or systems you want to use the software on to select the appropriate license.
