Am I bound to the 32-bit or 64-bit version?

In general: For modern computers (mostly built after 2014), it is recommended to install the 64-bit version. For older devices with less memory, the 32-bit version may be sensible to ensure stable usage.

Important Note

The license key is not tied to the bit version.
All keys provided by us work with both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.

The bit version is only relevant during installation, not during activation.

Example: If your system is 32-bit, you should also install the appropriate 32-bit version.

How to identify your system

  1. Open the Start menu.
  2. Type “System” in the search.
  3. Open the System entry in the Control Panel.
  4. Under “System type”, you will see whether it is a 32-bit or 64-bit system.

Example:
On a 64-bit system, it will display: “64-bit operating system”
