In general: For modern computers (mostly built after 2014), it is recommended to install the 64-bit version. For older devices with less memory, the 32-bit version may be sensible to ensure stable usage.
Important Note
The license key is not tied to the bit version.
All keys provided by us work with both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
The bit version is only relevant during installation, not during activation.
Example: If your system is 32-bit, you should also install the appropriate 32-bit version.
How to identify your system
- Open the Start menu.
- Type “System” in the search.
- Open the System entry in the Control Panel.
- Under “System type”, you will see whether it is a 32-bit or 64-bit system.
Example:
On a 64-bit system, it will display: “64-bit operating system”
