We have implemented a keyless registration mechanism. The system now uses the machine ID and the MAC address to communicate with the server. This was introduced to avoid registration issues at startup. The keyless registration is a new method where the software automatically registers the application using the machine ID and the MAC address, eliminating the need to enter a license key during installation or the first launch.
How it works:
At startup, the application sends the machine ID and the MAC address to the server.
The server validates the system and automatically activates the license.
This improves the user experience by avoiding early registration errors or license prompts during installation.
Important Notes:
The license key is still tied to the machine.
At any time, the application may ask for the key during runtime to revalidate the license.
